Calling all Munster Ladies!
Come and join us for the Cork City Women’s Mini Marathon on Sunday 24 September. Runners, joggers, walkers or strollers of all ages are very welcome to this great event. It will be our second year fielding a Bóthar team. This year’s proceeds will go towards a water project in Tanzania.

Bóthar’s Traveling Meitheal
In celebration of Bóthar’s 15th Year Anniversary, we are organising a special travellingMeitheal that will be held in six counties all over Ireland. A detailed seminar featuring our work on the ground will be given by special members of our main project countries. We will have guest speakers from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and also South America. Each speaker will be sharing their experiences from the field. This is a chance for Bóthar to thank our supporters for their generosity over the past 15 years and explain to them how exactly they are helping people to help themselves in the developing World. There will also be a question and answer period at the end if you require additional information. This six day event will take place in the month of October and travel to Tralee, Waterford, Dublin, Sligo, Athlone and also Limerick. Our last Meitheal took place in 1998 and we are hoping that this one will prove to be just as successful. We are always trying to raise more awareness for
Bóthar and with your help this can be accomplished.
